After years of close collaboration in one of the Nordic region’s largest energy companies, we decided to combine our experience and establish JUHL/SKAANING – a modern consultancy built on integrity, quality, and meaningful development.
Since then, we’ve grown. Today, JUHL/SKAANING consists of experienced consultants with strong competencies in leadership development, strategy, organisational development, business development, and procurement. We also collaborate with a trusted network of skilled freelancers who complement our core services when needed.

JUHL/SKAANING was founded by Krista Juhl and Tenna Skaaning – two experienced leaders with backgrounds in international organisations and a shared ambition to deliver consulting that is personal, sharp, and grounded in reality.
Krista brings a strong track record from the offshore wind and energy sector, where she led large procurement organisations and was responsible for some of the industry’s biggest tenders and supplier negotiations. She has deep expertise in category strategy, risk management, and team development – and combines strategic insight with legal understanding and a practical mindset to create solutions that work in complex, technical environments.
Tenna has held senior roles as CPO, Procurement Director, Head of EPC, and Head of O&M – overseeing the construction and operation of major international energy projects. She has built functions from the ground up, led critical business programmes, and delivered results in high-stakes, multi-stakeholder settings. Her strength lies in connecting strategy with execution – and in creating direction, engagement, and momentum when it matters most. Tenna serves on several boards of directors across the energy and innovation sector.
Krista and Tenna remain the foundation of JUHL/SKAANING – but today, we are more than just the two of us.
